Highway 92 Raceway

Highway 92 Raceway Park – Since 1968 has offered Friday night races all summer long. Located 4 miles East of Gering on Highway 92, it offers one of only two asphalt racetracks in the entire state of Nebraska.

Midwest Theater

Built in 1946, the Midwest Theater has been restored with lush velvet seats, beautiful carpeting, mirrors—an exciting place to attend movies and performances.  The Theater presentations film, live performances of music, theater, and art; and a space for community programs, and hosts a Film Festival in October in even numbered years.

Nile Theater

Discover the beautiful Nile Theatre. This family owned and operated theatre opened on November 21, 1939.  A grand neon marquee decorates the the theatre front and the lobby looks like a luxurious living room complete with a firplace.  This theatre still has a waterfall curtain that rises before the movie.
