A Family owned and operated craft beverage business in the Nebraska Panhandle, Papa Moon was established in 2012. Papa Moon, the endearing name for grandpa the brewing and operating brother duo, Ryan & Trevor’s children have given to their grandfather after several evenings spending time outside observing the moon.
The vineyard and winery started with a desire to spend time with family and friends and a way to make a product grown 100% in Nebraska. Papa Moon has had the natural progression from wine into making mead and ciders. The ciders have won several international awards and have garnered recognition from the LA drinks guide, Chicago drinks guide and have been named Nebraska Producer of the Year every year since 2019.
Upon visiting the cider house one can find lush gardens, streams, natural wetlands, yard games and hammocks, an escape from busy life. The winery and cider house also teams up with local chefs, musicians and artists to offer uniquely Nebraska experiences. Papa Moon continues to expand their production volume and portfolio as well as expanding into non alcohol containing products.
